Children's Picture Books Symposium:
In Writing-Illustrating-Reading
We are getting together to have a conversation about the production processes of children’s picture books, the artist’s journey of illustrating and how the reader interacts with the illustrations and to contemplate together over examples in this field from Turkey and Finland.
Our aim is to improve our fundamental skills of recognising, understanding, analysing, examining and evaluating the processes of writing, illustrating and eventually reading together children’s picture books for ages 0 to 6.
